Free Cleaning and Inspection
We provide free in-house cleaning and inspection of all your jewelry. All jewelry should be cleaned and inspected every 4 – 6 months. The average life expectancy of a gold ring containing stones is 5 – 7 years before there is a need for repair. The average life expectancy of a platinum ring holding stones is 7 – 10 years before there is a need for repair. If during our inspection we determine your piece is in need of repair, we provide free estimates on that repair. The average repair takes two weeks, but express repair service is also available for an additional fee.

***NOTE: DO NOT USE THE ABOVE CLEANING TECHNIQUE FOR CUSTOM JEWELRY THAT MAY CONTAIN GLUE
Refinishing: Removing Scratches and Tarnish
Our hand polishing service removes all scratches from your jewelry item and can often be done while you wait. This technique can only be performed on silver, gold, and platinum. Some stainless steel can also be polished as long as it is not plated. Prices vary, but evaluations are always free.
Sterling silver can oxidize and show tarnish over time. To keep your sterling silver sparking like new, we can remove the tarnish and polish your piece. We also sell jeweler’s polishing cloths so you can polish your jewelry at home in between professional cleanings.
